We will dig deep into equipment history, operational data, recent changes, and current/past inspection reports or data. Then, once the failure mechanism and/or root cause have been identified, we will provide means for remedying this problem. In some cases, this problem may have affected other equipment and not yet become observable. We will help identify this other equipment and assist in their proper inspection, and repair as needed.
SMPES, LLC also provides services in material selection, in particular with regards to high temperature service conditions, corrosion, hydrogen, stress-corrosion cracking, fracture mechanics, etc. As needed, we can assist with non-metal testing.
